1.2.2 Entering the desired configuration

In the "Choice of configuration" area, you can specify the desired hardware configuration.

No Operator action System response
1. Select a configuration by clicking on the various parameter controls and by selecting a component.

Example:
Select a CPU in the Sending Station area.

The system accepted the CPU desired by you and at the same time automatically performed the consecutive selection of the CP for you. (In this example, the selection control of the CP was disabled since no measured values with CP exist for this CPU)

The system instantly sent a query with the currently active filter to the database and displayed it in the performance data table.

In this example, 64 of a total of 416 measured values are available that have been measured with precisely this CPU.

2. Enter the parameters of your choice for the "network" and "services" area in exactly the same way

Example:
Select the Baudrate.

The system has applied the entries selected by you.

Just as under item 1 the system reperformed a database query with the expanded filter settings and thereby further restricted the number of measured values in question.

3.

Enter the parameters of your choice for the "receiving station" area in exactly the same way.

Example:
Sucessive selection of the Load due to program (100ms) and the Number of stations (6).

The system has applied your entries.

The system has made another database query with the advanced filter settings.
